We had our baby girl at jessops, in what turned out to be a bit of a difficult birth. The staff made it a really good experience nonetheless, with excellent teamwork, great communication and a level of supportive professionalism that I have never previously witnessed. We can’t thank them enough. A few days in when we were having difficulty feeding, they again pulled out all the stops, with a fantastic neonatal nurse who supported us through breast feeding with top ups, and a really sensible approach that avoided an unnecessary admission. Absolutely indebted to all the staff at this unit, I can’t thank you all enough!
I can't put it into words how amazing the care was that we all received when my son was transferred for therapeutic cooling treatment. Every single nurse, doctor, receptionist and even the cleaners on whirlow ward were truly amazing. I can never properly thank them for what they did for my family but it has led me to do some charity runs which hopefully will go someway to repaying the amazing care that we all received!
Everyone is really nice and help you with any thing that you don't understand.
Myself and daughter who was born premature at 23wks were transfered to the neonatal unit here from Doncaster royal infirmary, and I must say that every single member of staff from the registrars, nursing staff all the way to the cleaning staff were absolutely amazing. the care they give to my little girl was fantastic. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in her care especially ward sisters Mary and Janina who not only looked after my daughter but also took the time to make sure that myself and my partner were OK.
The jessop wing in my eyes is the best neonatal unit and antenatal care in the area
