It is the second time in two years I have been to Charles Clifford due to roots retained in gums after tooth extractions at dentist..the care was brilliant the doctor and student were reassuring and I felt relaxed and confident that I was in good hands...they were talking me through the procedure and showing me the Xrays of what had happened and what they were doing to put it right. Couldn't have had better care Thankyou

I have been a patient at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital for a lot of years and the treatment I have received has been first class in every way. The students work very hard to ensure they do a good job and the tutors are always there to check all they do and show them the best way to treat the patient. Over the years I have watched the way the hospital has evolved and can honestly say that these days they are certainly moving in the right direction. The tutors are becoming more empathic in their teachings, less abrupt with students who need a little more direction, which in turn helps the students to develop more confidence. The nursing staff are great and always ready to help where they can. If I had to choose one downside of Charles Clifford it would be lack of disabled parking. There is only one parking space at the hospital and although this is a disabled bay very often it is blocked by skips or other maintenance materials. The few ticketed spaces on Wellesley Road in front of the hospital are usually taken up by contractor's vehicles. Parking is in great demand on the streets around the hospital so I always try to ensure I am at least an hour early to hopefully get a space near by, I am disabled and find walking extremely painful at best. More spaces for disabled patients is desperately needed.

I had to have a biopsy which I was not expecting and am terrified of the dentist. Staff realised how shaken and scared I was and were so kind to me and explained everything really well. I was never made to feel silly and was treated with respect and understanding. The care I was shown meant a lot to me and my subsequent visits were the same. I will be forever grateful to everyone involved in my care. Thank you.

I had not been to dentist for quite a few years due to a bad experience but was suffering a lot of pain due to a broken tooth. I went to Charles Clifford dental hospital and was treated with respect and kindness they removed the tooth that was the main problem and then referred me to their restorative department where I met a fifth year student named Steph she has since restored my faith in dentists by her kind caring and patient attitude she never rushes me always explains what she is doing and let's me take a break and sit up when I need to. I would just like to say to all the lecturers keep up the good work in teach the next generation of dentists to treat their patients with respect and understanding. Because for some of us the dentist chair can be a very frightening place. I do not think I will ever be able to visit a regular dentist again but I know that at the dental hospital I will be well looked after and my teeth are now better then they have been in years so thank you. For all your care
