I was discharged on 30th October 2022, after a total knee replacement.
I am indebted to all the staff at Jersey General Hospital who looked after me so brilliantly. You are such a fantastic team.
I prepared as well as possible for this procedure, but I'd never had major surgery before. There were various aspects of the immediate post-operative care that I hadn't bargained for, and the day and nighttime staff got me through it with much compassion and expertise.
