There needs to be a better systems set up for processing private self funding patients payments. I am due a rather large refund, having been asked to pay an amount in advance to cover all eventualities, which luckily I did not need to use. The hospital has unfortunately not refunded me a month after my surgery, necessitating my having to make long and tedious phone calls from abroad in order to chase up the payment. Not best pleased! even though the rest of my experience was faultless.
