WOW! I have been treated by a number of different trusts over the years for various health issues but I've never had such amazing care. I was originally admitted as an emergency patient in Early March and stayed in hospital for 4 nights. Gallstones were the problem so I was added to a waiting list and expected a wait of 2-3 months. Fortunately, a week ago Louise in the admissions team called to offer me a place at Halton hospital today (11/4). Thank you so much Louise for this! Halton Hospital, despite being slightly spooky and quiet was amazing! The ward (B4) was clean and tidy, the staff especially the lovely student nurses were great! It was so nice to be able to have the opportunity to chat with these lovely girls who will make amazing nurses one day soon! Thank you so much to all of you for the care today. It was so nice to be treated like a human being for a change. You have completely restored my trust and faith in the NHS, a service that has let me down so many times before. I'd also like to thank Dr Kaylea Clark in Warrington, for taking the time on what was clearly a busy few shifts for taking the time to pop and see me. Finally, the porters at Warrington hospital who don't get as much praise as they should were amazing. They really made me smile when I was in a lot of pain. These guys are the unspoken heroes of the hospital and do great jobs! Finally, Mr Sarfraz, an amazing surgeon. Thank you so much! Thank you so much to WHH for the amazing treatment I've had by everyone involved in my care!
