Great Ormond Street rests on its laurels. My son's experience was very different to the caring TV shows and adverts designed to tug on viewer's heartstrings. The staff on the whole were arrogant, rude and adopted a superior "we know best attitude" to every aspect of the 18 months my son was there. Wrong medications were given including dosages and out of date medication. The "shared care package" with a local hospital was a disaster and GOSH washed their hands of him directly resulting in his death. Complaints made were a waste of time and i was continually fobbed off. I am please to see Jane Collins has been eased out but I do worry about Marie Curie Cancer Care taking such a person on to its staff.
