Our child had an appointment with Endocrinologist Dr Hussein. Our appointment letter stated time for an afternoon appointment. We arrived at the time stated in our letter. We went in and saw Dr Hussein and were on the receiving end of him shouting at us because the hospital said our appointment should have been in the morning, though we were not informed otherwise by ormon d street. We went Dr Hussein the appointment letter we had received showing the time we arrived at, Dr Hussein never responded to this letter. Also recently our child was seen by orthopedic specialist Mr Spence, the GP.made the referral. However Ormond street hospital went and sent mistakenly appointment letters to a previous address which was many years ago and in a different county. The Gp would have given ormond street our existing address, on this occasion Ormond street admitted there error. Dr Hussein was obviously prejudging the appointment time matter and this may be the reason he did not respond to our correspondence. I think it is easy in fact to easy for hospitals and doctors to blame parents and other people for there own mistakes. Instead of been transparent and taken accountability for there actions and errors.
