This is my local hospital. I get my special shoes from here. The male orthopedist is willing to answer all of my questions and make himself useful as well. He is pretty smart as well. Recommended by a local patient. I have been here many times over the years too. One suggestion there could be toys for babies and kids however. And games in case of boredom.

I have severe arthritis in the hands, nothing today really helped me. i just need suitable pain relief. None of that appears available. I take Naproxin which does help a bit but need something stronger. After today I realise that I will just have to live with the condition as best as I can. The other ladies at the session had arthritis nowhere need as bad as mine. As usual staff were really very nice and helpful. Epsom is a very good hospital but am afraid my condition is really beyond help.

I had surgery on my hand and I found the whole process was excellent from starting with the doctor who examined my hand and made the diagnosis through to the operation and aftercare, especially the hand therapist Bettine (OT) who explained things very well, and answered all my questions and concerns.

The service I received from Bettine (OT) was excellent, from my first appointment with her, it felt like she was looking after a friend because of her manner and care. All the staff & departments are great, but even though everyone is clearly busy, under pressure etc, it didn't reflect on me at all, I really couldn't have asked for more !! Thank you to the N.H.S. and especially, THANK YOU Bettine.

The staff who attended to me were very well trained and knew what they were doing. They were very friendly. They were encouraging me and gave me an assurance that I am doing very well and on the right direction in my hand therapy exercises. At the beginning, the oedema (swelling) was so terribly great that I had a great fear that the swelling may not go down. But due to the encouragement given by the staff I was able to continue my therapy without any fear. My grateful thanks to all the staff that helped me.

Vanessa was extremely helpful and I was made to feel relaxed and not to worry about my broken wrist as everything would be done to make life go back to normal. Plenty of exercises to do and time to do them in before the next session as well. I learnt how to cope with the tightness and slight discomfort that my wrist was experiencing and understand that it will be a while before it heals completely. So many thanks again for all your help and support over the past few months.

Having only moved into the borough in September 2018 (from Bromley borough) I have been beyond impressed with the level of the efficiency with my new doctors and the speedy referral to the hand specialities. The steroid injections to my thumbs, although initially very painful, has now eased so much. My hand therapist was very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. Having suffered in silence for a number of years and previously been told that I had repetitive strain disorder, I cannot thank the professionals enough for all of their level of care and support.

I had hand surgery earlier this year and was then referred to hand therapy ay Epsom. I was treated efficiently and courteously by the reception team. The therapy faultless and I really benefitted from it. I cannot praise Vanessa enough, she was professional in every respect.
