Was quick getting pain relief and going through process of finding problem, however once sorted just a bit slow awaiting discharge but no overall complaints and staff was brilliant

AMU is a very busy ward . Whilst there were some issues overall I found it a positive experience. Also was in ward 22 which was a totally different experience. Absolutely outstanding. And same in Ambulatory care . Very impressed with care and staff of all grades.

Communication!!!! Between wards, between departments and different staff! Was also in Ward 22 which was outstanding. Then on ambulatory care . Seen by tissue viability but info from one department to another not shared well.

Care was outstanding from every single person I encountered. I was extremely ill and remained in hospital for ten days post surgery. Staff were compassionate and attentive throughout my time at the hospital. They listened to me and were very sympathetic to my needs which were quickly sorted every time. The ward has a cheery atmosphere and the ladies who run the department are clearly highly skilled, professional and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. A very smooth running department with excellent staff. My consultant also came to see me on three separate occasions throughout my stay there which I thought further demonstrated the high standards of care. I was in good hands and so grateful for everything that they did to help me get better and finally reunite me with my young son and baby. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Outstanding department.

I came in hardly being able to weight bear on my foot had to walk to X-ray in pain wasn’t offered a chair which caused me more pain to be told after X-ray just a sprain nothing g can do , when asked if any support could use just got told no , I am struggling so much with pain and pressure

The staff were rude we waited for over 9 hours with no pain relief the staff belittled the opinions of my child and made them feel inferior
