This hospital and its staff provided impeccable care during the final stages of the life of a beloved niece. Their care and compassion was not only delivered to the patient, but to family members too. And whilst we were all at our most vulnerable, they demonstrated genuine sensitivity. Support staff also were kind, caring and unpatronising, making suggestions at every stop about the availability of suitable refreshments, but nothing was done without some gentle 'negotiation' with the patient. In every organisation there are unsung heroes and amongst these are the diligent domestic/cleaning staff without whom the environment risks becoming intolerable; at Denbigh Community Hospital there are no such concerns. We take this opportunity of thanking everyone in equal measure and wish the hospital and its staff - especially the amazing Dr Rob - best wishes for its continued success. Long may this hospital continue to provide much-needed and much-appreciated care for its local community.
