I've always been a great advocate of Stafford (sorry, County) hospital, so I especially wanted to leave this review for them.
I've recently been seen at their Colposcopy suite - and the team of nurses, headed up by Sister Sutton are absolutely outstanding. I couldn't have received better care from the team if I'd have paid to go private. I was extremely anxious, and they completely understood, and made sure that I was fully informed of what was going on, and in control. They were brilliant.
The unit was clean (in fact, theatre style clean!! Believe me when I say that, I'm a Nurse myself), and their pre and post procedure care was second to none.
I've been a patient in A&E before too - at the height of their issues - I have to say again, I couldn't have asked for better care for my dislocated knee. Just amazing. At the heart of all of the chaos is a team of dedicated, highly skilled professionals.
We owe our NHS so much.
