I always receive excellent care and consideration from the nurses. Also an important is that I feel involved and they are listening to my concerns.
I am extremely privileged to have been looks after by Amanda,Rebecca and Shinead during such devastating time of my life as well as for my family.
One thing for sure I will extremely insist on that such services should not stop because of funding beaurocacy!!
People like me need such mental, physical and emotional support all the time and no doubt I got one when I needed it most.they have guided me at every step of my journey till I got my diagnosis of Lung Cancer.
Biomedical guidance, services offered for healthy lifestyle, emotional support to coop with cancer and a phone call away help in hand.
I can't thank enough to these ladies who has given me strength to fight against the cancer and I strongly believe that services like this should continues to support people like me.
Always been treated well by the district nurse team. Can't fault them.
Always polite on time great service
very caring Nurse ,treated me with respect and was very helpful with what was a sensitive test.
My nurses are very good and if needed between appointments I can always get in touch
I’ve really had positive experiences of classes and midwife appointments at Airedale cluster sites. However, we have seen my health visitor twice in 6 months. There have been 3 occasions where a scheduled appointment has been cancelled on the day we were due to be visited. This was due to staff sickness which I understand happens but I then had to chase up to book an appointment, which has now yet again been cancelled! My son has not been checked, weighed or measured since mid August, it’s now mid December. I rarely complain about services as I know the NHS is under intense strain, I’m sure this service like many others will most likely be underfunded and understaffed, but I’m so disappointed with the care (or lack of it) that we have received. I have questions about weaning and my sons health that I’d like to ask a professional but this is not possible. The health visiting service at my GP practice has been stopped too so this is not an option either. I don’t drive so it’s tricky for me to get to the practices further afield to attend a session elsewhere. New parents need and deserve more support than this!
