I was taken care by the Jade team and my community midwife is Charlotte Wood. I found the team is very responsible and professional e.g. they helped me get an appointement with GP at a short notice. And when I explained my concern about my blood sugar level, they arrange a GTT test for me straight away. I think GBS test should be included in the antenatal care. I have to get this test done privately and my result was positive.
-Lots of support provided to help decide whether to have elective caesarean or vaginal birth following previous caesarean.
Post natal care I received from St Peter hospital and community midwife is brilliant. They have given me lots of help and valuable information.
All questions answered and helpful advice given. Midwife was calm, friendly and reassuring.
It would be helpful to have a time slot for home visits - even if just "morning" or "afternoon".
My husband and I were extremely impressed with the antenatal care we received whilst pregnant with our daughter. We saw the same midwife at each appointment, and she was kind, caring and efficiently organised any extra appointments/tests we needed. She always had time to answer any questions we had, and did her best to settle any worries we had about the labour process! We would definitely recommend your antenatal service to family and friends.
Absolutely brilliant. Extremely helpful couldn't ask for a better service.
It was so easy to get breast feeding support to come to the house. Sabrina was really encouraging + helpful.
The midwives all made me feel like my questions were valid + opinion was important + they were clearly very committed to ensuring my son was well. I´ve had a great experience of this service.
My midwife - Kelly Davenport was excellent. She managed my extremely quick birth very well wishes into account to ensure the best experience possible.
The Joan Booker ward care received was very upsetting , a lot of pressure put onto breast feed to the extent that I was made to feel very upset put onto ward with c.section put in even though had normal birth and midwives didnt know that the most upsetting point was that adequate + important information wasnt passed on
