I have been so pleased with the quality of care and the kindness with which it was delivered during two recent in-patient stays and numerous out-patient appointments. At a time when NHS staff are under such pressure, my care was truly faultless. I knew exactly what was happening and why. I include here the OPAT community intravenous antibiotic service. I would like to also thank the army of hospital workers the patient never sees, from microbiologists, to pharmacists, admin workers and all the engineers and technical workers who maintain the fabric of the building. Plus those the patient may see only once, such as anaesthetists, recovery nurses, imaging technicians, no-urgent patient transport and so on.
