I had Mohs procedure carried out on my nose under local anaesthesia. On the day, I was extremely apprehensive. The whole team is exceptionally considerate and my anxiety was quickly resolved by their understanding and compassionate approach.
I was made comfortable whilst I waited for laboratory results which took longer than the actual procedure. This was explained to me preoperatively and I was advised to bring something to pass the time which went by surprisingly quickly.
My sutures were removed by Lisa a week later, totally without discomfort.
The result is remarkable and I am impressed, after only 4 weeks the scar is almost invisible.
An excellent team and unit.
