Great clinic. Perfect clinical environment. Very professional, friendly and welcoming staff. I always recommend the clinic to others. Well done Burwell Street.
Waited for nearly 10 minutes at reception before any of the three people even looked up at me - there was one person ahead of me at the counter, the staff just all had their heads down.
Then the staff were snotty and off-hand about information. It took several further phonecalls to get clear information and I still haven't actually seen a medical professional.
Getting tests like this can be stressful and nervous, it should be simple and the first point contact staff should be encouraging, not dismissive and condescending if you get things wrong.
Stereotypically acting doctors reception staff. I won't go back there.
I called a few days prior to my visit to the Burrell street clinic as I wasn't sure if what info they would require from me. The receptionist was brilliant! Super professional and eager to help. I arrived at 15mins before the clinic opened as advised by the receptionist. Once the doors opened, we all were giving forms to fill and ALL the people behind the desk seems genuinely nice knowledgable people which helped put my nerves at ease. I did have to wait 1 hour but they have it written everywhere that priority cases went first but I didn't mind as the lounge was clean and modern (there's free coffee too)!! The doctor who saw me was the nicest person ever and answered all the questions I had. So overall my experience at Burrell street clinic was EXCELLENT. Everyone is super professional, nice and helpful. Well done NHS for giving us a non judgemental, nice relaxed place to go to answer all of our STD queries.
The service was outstanding. I would very much recommend this clinic to anyone.
Friendly and caring staff. Only down side: sometimes you have to wait too long to be seen.
No info about approximate waiting time leaves someone waiting for upto 30-60mins. When someone's already stressed and worried, this can be very distressing.
The staff said 'what do you want now'... Attitude and lack of understanding at the reception.
This clinic is an example of how every single health clinic should run. It's civilised, clean and welcoming. The staff is incredibly nice and not at all condescending or patronising.
It was very easy to be seen and have all the tests and treatment I needed all in 2h.
At 8.30 the wait supposedly was up to 3h. Well I am here 4h noone updated me an the receptionist is less than interested that I came from night shift, having to go to night shift. Also the tracking system online doesn't correspond with what receptionists are telling you how many people are in front of me. What's the point? Tracking system hasn't changed the last 1h. Not surprised, I see all staff walking out with coffees heading home via the waiting area. Makes me feel "great"
Waited 2 hours without being seen. Ridiculously long wait
Unfortunately after a routine STI swab test performed by the doctor I have come home sore and bleeding.
