Our son is well looked after by the staff on Jade Unit. They are considerate about what he wants and how he feels. Staff try to help him when he is anxious, frustrated or upset.
The nursing staff meet with an MDT every Tuesday, to discuss his treatment and his medication and to decide on appropriate changes when they are necessary. We are kept informed about his medication and the progress of his treatment.
Staff on Jade Unit care about [name removed] and he is treated fairly and with respect and dignity. He is looked after by experienced and capable people, and they are helping him recover from his mental health problems.
Suggested improvements
The staff on Jade Unit are doing and excellent job. They work hard to give families and patients an excellent service and they are capable of meeting the challenges that our son presents.
We feel that our son is very fortunate to have been placed on Jade Unit for his treatment and we can't see how they could do anything better.
Jade unit is really very good and it could be used as a model for excellence.
