Nothing but bad things to say about this hospital. I was admitted back in October after numerous ambulance visits and deteriorating condition. Upon admission I had my medical cannabis prescription revoked, with doctors naming it as the reason for my pain and other deteriorating issues even though it was a legal prescription. I was left in a bed on morphine for a week and a half with no phsycial examinations, I had conflicting information about my care with some doctors telling me I'd get a nerve conduction study, others a lumbar puncture, some saying I'd see rheumatology, others saying I'd see neurology. I had doctors consistently ignoring me when I was stating the issues were stemming from my back with the feeling of pressure throughout my muscular skeletal system. I was told to ask for a key card by the pharmacist to store my medical cannabis in when it was eventually handed back, the nurse on duty laughed at me when I made this request. I was given heparin by a nurse that didn't read my chart and see I hadn't been given it for the entire week beforehand after initially having a recation to it, leading to a further reaction and waiting 7hrs for a doctor to come who only did when I started discharging myself. She stated she'd put referrals in to rheumatology and neurology stating "she would not see me left without care" which she didn't do. She said she would put in my notes "if your health further deteriorates I will have it put in your notes to readmit you, not all doctors are the same in ED and you will be able to be readmitted should your issues continue to get worse" I've since been back numerous times with agnosing pain and mobility issues and had a doctor drop me on my face after requesting his arm for support, and had doctors scream at me shouting "your not going to be readmitted to this hospital for help" being readmitted is the last thing I want after the treatment I've received but I have no option when I'm left at home to deteriorate screaming in pain. Most of the nurses once I got the ward were nice, however the ED staff are highly toxic and abusive and have left me coming back and forth trying to get readmitted, something that I was promised by the discharging doctor. Everytime I've been in the ED I've been denied pain relief and left in agnosing pain something I've recently got evidence in voice recording and forwarded to the assistant director to ask why. Overall a abusive and toxic hospital with toxic ED staff that lie and don't keep to their promises.
Bristol Royal Infirmary.Bristol. Phlebotomy and setting drips in the arm were excruciating.
This is an essential improvement.
I asked one nurse why I wasn't explained anything, the reply was "We're too busy".
All patients are not dullards and we can be consulted
A consultant discharged me to my GP. I asked a nurse to borrow a wheelchair to be pushed to the entrance. She refused. The only time during my stay when I needed GTN.
All the staff in the pre op departments who did all my original tests.
All the nursing staff who looked after me after my operations.
All the staff working alongside Dr Bray we’re very kind and caring.
I always felt supported and in good hands!

I don't like the bri hospital that goes to the ward I was on as they don't care about people like me with learning disabilities and that they did not treat me properly and they don't listen to me I don't want to be here anymore I have had enough
Clean, safe, efficient and comfortable
I couldn't wish for better care at the BRI.Everyone was so caring and helpful.
My name is Terence Elliott, I attended the BRI Dermatology on 11 December 2020 for a follow cancer operation which was an Excision Galea Scalp - Deep Margin and Re- graft which was carried out by Mr Mark Singh. I have reviewed the operation earlier on.
On arriving at the the checking in process was very good as was the preparation prior to my operation.
Hospital was clean, staff great, all in all a great experience.
