The front of house staff are lovely but the clinicians here are rushed and brusque, they don’t have enough time to explain things and they don’t want you to ask questions. My surgery had already been delayed by a week and I really got the impression they were trying to cram people into the day I was moved to. I was all prepped for surgery when they decided they couldn’t do it. The surgeon must have looked at my test results at the last minute, not that he bothered coming to speak to me. I totally accept their right to not go ahead, but I was surprised to find myself on the doorstep 5 minutes later. It all happened so quickly, I tried to ask questions because the information didn’t seem to be forthcoming but I was a bit dazed and confused to be honest. I felt like I’d been rejected from their production line because I didn’t conform to their ideal patient. It feels like some sort of efficiency guru has come in to tell them how to make more money - Awful experience. To make matters worse, they still have my money and have told me it takes 28 days to refund ‘because that’s their terms and conditions’.
