My mum was transferred to the Hospice, from hospital, at our family’s request, following a terminal cancer diagnosis . They were amazing, from managing her pain to her personal care to providing support to our family. nothing was too much trouble for the staff and volunteers. I spent many hours at the hospice, never having been in one before, it’s certainly not a sad place and we are so glad that mum got to spend her last weeks in such a caring place.
