First patient seen of the morning so no queue. Very happy with the service

Came here with my son who injured himself at work. The nurses were brilliant with him and went through what they were going to do and treated him brilliantly. He required stitches for his injury and they did it with care and the other nurse was great at distracting him
Being sent to to the urgent care centre was a great help as he was seen quickly
I have prostate cancer and i have been diagnosed with type2 diabetic

Triage assessed and sent for x-ray in another dept . Stood waiting in pain for 20 mins to be told cannot do because I fell from 2 MTRS high need to go back to reception . Told to wait for call .
Pain killers I took wore off . Asked 3 times for relief only to be told have to see doctor . 4 hrs later more pain. Asked matron who took papers and disappeared. Change over of staff . Still in pain from ribs, breathing struggling .
Ask again new matron who asked were papers are ??? Still no pain relief . 6 hrs told not assessed for x-ray waiting time announced now 5 hrs took blood pressure and temp. Given 2 codine
Couldn't wait so I left. To go home .
Car in carpark over ticket price due to waiting . Got call 2 hrs later from hospital saying they been calling my name I should come back . Can't to drugged up with pain killers. Tell me I should of waited . My dog gets treated better at the vets . No system of importance in place real injured suffer just because they walk in due to no ambulance.
Most of the people I spoke to during the night were courteous and helpful.
Excellent service , well respected , and very very professional .
Food was not needed in my case .
