That was my experience and those are my conditions

I should have been advised about what was going to happen and why and when it was going to happen. I was told that certain medication would be prescribed/ provided for me but didn’t and has still not been prescribed or provided so I still have no idea what is going on. A consultant came to see me but brought, WITHOUT ASKING MY PERMISSION!, approximately 7 or 8 other staff? Doctors? Nurses? Visitors? Cleaners? I have no idea. He then started examining me which he told me he was going to do which was fine however he then went on to perform a procedure without asking me first and did this in front of the other people he brought with him. I was told I was being kept in for an operation and I had prepared my family for this arranging for clothes etc to be brought to the hospital and making arrangements for who would visit and when. Then I was told later by a doctor that I was being discharged instead and that I would be brought back as an outpatient for my operation. However the doctor said they don’t know when that will be just “ in the future “. So not only have I have no idea or information or timeline for this but I also have NO idea about what is or isn’t happening with the medication I’m supposed to be getting. I am not at all happy especially as my condition has deteriorated again and is now as bad as it was before I was admitted into hospital in the first place. From a medical perspective my experience feels like a complete waste of my and the medical staff’s time as it has achieved absolutely nothing at all. A total waste of time and money for no good reason because it means me having to go through all of this again very soon due to my condition. I’m not a happy bunny at all.

I have all the above and emphysema, I also suffer mobility issues. I was sent to Poulton-Le-Fylde for an emergency prescription, I was waiting over an hour & half, before I had to contact 101 again. Then I was told to get a prescription from Blackpool Victoria Hospital. It cost me a small fortune having to get taxi cabs due to my mobility issues

Not had me going so far from home to a chemist, only to be sent to the hospital which is 5mins from my house. It cost me over £20 in cab fares
