Everyone in Benenden did all they could to make my stay and treatment as enjoyable as possible. The surgeon Mr Ahmed Hamouda and the anaethetist (whose name sadly, I forget), came to see me before the operation to ask if I was OK and to confirm what was going to happen. They both took the time to answer my questions. All the staff who attended me were kind, attentive, and professional. I was particularly impressed by the theatre nurse who put a warm blanket over my bare legs, and the nurse who looked after me as I was recovering from the anaesthetic, and who helped me with personal hygeine.
