I have diverticula disease and twisted bowel and had been using cannabis oil for pain relief prior to surgery. The nursing staff were not supportive of me using this post op, with some making. E feel like a criminal, although the doctors were fine with me using it.. This needs to change as the usual pain relief (opiates) are not suitable for all patients. Apart from that the care I received was outstanding.
