I went to Ashford Hospital yesterday for the first time since Covid. Obviously wore a mask as required. There was a man outside the entrance who asked where I was going (presumably to confirm that I had an appointment). I was then temperature checked inside by another man, who offered me a clean mask if I’d needed one. I was later checked off a list before going through to the unit I was visiting and then informed the ward secretary that I was there for my appointment. There were much fewer chairs in the waiting area than on my previous visit so clear social distancing in place. Hand sanitiser was everywhere, staff were wearing masks and everything was very clean (as it has always been).
