Referrals are slow, poor consultant cover ie absence due to sick leave long term, poor or lack of communication between medical, nursing and admin staff with patient. Near obstruction when trying to get an update. Seems to be individual stand apathy with excuses busy with other patients, fine for a day or two but not week in week out. All I want is for classification to which step in the process so can follow up.
My experience relates to a vascular issue taking over nine months for diagnosis and referral to belfast for intermittent claudication.
