It seems the answer to any ailment at Yorkshire St surgery is to take a blood sample, regardless of your reason for appointment. Both myself and my husband had different issues although both in general good health and not frequent visitors to the surgery. I had issues with menopausal symptoms and was directly asked what I expected out of this appointment as hrt isn't just given out! I had gone out of concern that at 50 years old my hair was thinning and I was really concerned and upset... So blood tests revealed I'm in basically good health... Perrimenopausal and there was nothing further to assist me. When I asked about thinning hair, the female doctor told me there's nothing to be done about that so I need to find a good hairdresser as it's an age thing. The doctor also suggested I lose 5kg in weight also... Thanks for your Emphatic support Yorkshire St. My husband saw a different doctor around the same time regarding his low mood at the time. Again blood tests were taken and as they came back fine no further treatment or support was recommended. In both instances we were advised to look on line and research in self help. Seems Yorkshire St aren't concerned anymore about patients asking for help.
