I've been with this surgery since i was an infant. I have very rarely needed medical attention. If i'm phoning the doctor it's because i'm missing a limb or i have the plague. There are only 4 or so places in the telephone queue, so you have to phone repeatedly. I have call history proving i phoned over 30 times over 2 days and still didn't get an appointment. I managed to get an appointment back in april and was referred for a chest x-ray. I waited 5 weeks because i thought COVID was delaying things, only to be sent a text asking why i didn't attend my appointment. I then received a letter saying that because of my recent blood pressure readings, i needed to contact them to discuss, i hadn't even had any! I was good enough to phone them and point out that they had clearly got two patients mixed up. I asked if they could re-book my chest x-ray because it was their fault and I was just given a number and told to do it myself! Then low and behold, i receive the same chaps' blood pressure warning letter once again, with all his medical information on it!! I have tried to phone so many times. My wife has literally phoned her doctors at 5pm, got a call back by 6pm and a prescription the next morning, it's not difficult. I guess they're understaffed. And for god's sake don't phone at lunch time because they apparently all take their lunch at the same time and don't answer the phone! terrible management! (or lack there of). I was caller number 1 for 28 minutes from 12:20 to 12:48 today (30/06). I'm there with , crippling pain in my hands and an infection and they're having a chin-wag over a salad and ignoring the phone. Rubbish! The receptionists are surely aware that they run a SERVICE RIGHT?????

Suggested improvements
Have more than 4 spaces in your telephone queue, don't all take your lunch at the same time, get more people on the phones!!!!!!!
