The receptionists really put me off going to the doctors as I dread ringing to make an appointment. You get nothing but rudeness and they tut down the phone. You are always made to feel an inconvenience. After I had gave birth my midwife sent a swab off of my cesarean wound and a Dr had called me to tell me I had Mrsa and I had to pick up a prescription. I couldn't walk or drive so my partner picked it up for me but every pharmacy in wilmslow didn't have what I needed and this was a Friday at 4 pm on a bank holiday weekend everyone pharmacy kept saying they couldn't order what I need until Tuesday. This made me upset as I was meant to be bonding with my Child but I was frightened to pick her up because I got told I would pass it on to her. I called the receptionist and asked to speak to the Dr to see if they could get the prescription from the hospital as it was urgent. The receptionist asked me what was wrong and I explained the Dr called me I need to speak to them again and the receptionist was so rude saying she needed to know why so I explained she then said she remembers my partner coming in to get the prescription and described him as a young boy when he is 25! And said the Dr has gone home and I should just wash my hands. This woman had no right in asking me what was wrong or giving out advice. This is sadly one of the occasions where the receptionists have let the surgery down.
