I was left on the floor for 6 months last year and could not walk. My surgeon at Epson Hospital told me I needed to have my spine fused to be able to walk again. I spoke to my GP about this because I 100% did not want that to happen. I was pleased when the GP located a surgeon that would operate on my spine without doing the fusion. I am obviously struggling to get by and some days are better than others, however, if it was not for the help of my GP I would still be on the floor, in pain and unable to walk; and for that I am forever grateful for being listened to.
It's also nice to see that the GP now has his son working there too. I think it is amazing to have a family owned practice.
