My last visit to the surgery was very upsetting for me and I have not been back since. I saw a Dr Wilmot who was very rude and agressive towards meand made me feel as if i was a very small child. I had been to see the BP nurse earilier that day to have a 24 hour BP monitor fitted. I have a great dislike of having my BP taken as I do not like pain or the sensation of the cuff cutting off my circulation. The nurse fully understood me when she could see my distress at the though of this every 15mins day and night but Wilmot told me I needed councelling as my reaction very totally unrealistic. She said what do you want me to do get my crystal ball out and she made a very large ball shape with her hands and she said if I could do that they I could have had you out of here 10 mins ago even though I had only been in the surgery 5mins. I have never been a frequent visitor to the doctors but did go if I could not treat whatever I had myself.
