The booking system for this surgery is quite absurb. They release morning and afternoon appointments at 8.45am and 1.45pm (I believe). I always call at precisely 8.45am in hopes of getting an appointment but in the mornings the number is either always "user busy" or you get a message saying the surgery isn't open. I will be trying to call for up to half an hour only to be told when I finally get through that the morning appointments have all gone and although the receptionists aren't rude, they are very short and not very helpful. For example, when I was told the morning appointments had all gone (despite trying to get through since 8.45am), the receptionist then asked if I could make it to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, and when I asked whether they take regular GP appointments, she hung up on me.
On the other hand the doctors I have met are all great and have all been lovely and helpful. I just don't know why they have this ridiculous booking system in place.
