I was circumcised for personal reasons in December 2017 by another clinic in the North West. The outcome wasn’t as tight as desired and some swelling remained after fully healing which was causing a fair amount of pain. I came across Thornhill clinic in search of revision surgery and spoke to Sam who booked me in for April 2018 and made gave me detailed pre op instructions. Although I had to travel, I am so glad I chose the clinic. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff and met with Dr Farooq Khan. Although this wasn’t the doctor indicated in the correspondence, it wasn’t an issue as he filled me with confidence. We discussed why I was considering a revision and he gave me outlined what I could expect. I indicated I wanted it a bit tighter than he suggested and he confirmed it was possible based on my anatomy. He was very good at putting me at ease and was open to answer any queries or concerns I had. He reassured me on numerous occasions that I was not committed to anything. I was happy and underwent the surgery. Dani was assisting Dr F Khan and both were professional and reassuring. Dr Khan said he did take off a bit more than discussed but it would all heal fine. The surgery was about 40 minutes and afterwards he made sure I was all okay before I left. The clinic was priced very competitively and the customer service is excellent, which is reflected in other reviews. It’s been three months since my circumcision revision and everything is pretty much healed. I opted for the glue and stitches which has left a very neat, symmetrical scar. The scar is still in the process of flattening but I am really happy with the result. I did have some worries early on that it may have been too tight but it was just the restriction from swelling. Dr Khan has done a great job and I couldn’t recommend him and the clinic enough. I really wish I’d used their services initially as based on their documents I may have been able to have a ‘high’ cut rather than the ‘low’ one I ended up with when I used the first clinic. If you’re thinking about getting circumcised, You’ll be in safe hands at Thornhill clinic. The travel is DEFINITELY worth it.
