I am very fortunate to have Dr Rickard as my GP, of course because she is so fantastic it is difficult to see her which is understandable. However recently I was given an appointment with a Dr who was working with Dr Kemp ( another caring thorough Dr) a Dr Lucy Mortimer and she was terrific. Her tone of voice was friendly with not a hint of patronising and despite feeling pretty awful she put me at my ease. After a thorough examination and conferring with Dr Kemp she returned to complete the examination which was absolutely mortifying for me (being the bowels which leaked). Dr Lucy was extremely calm and reassuring and dealt with the clean-up totally professionally but kindly. I did say how proficient she was and any patients getting her as their GP would be lucky. So again thank you Dr Lucy Mortimer you saved an excruciating incident from becoming a melt down trauma.
