I was satisfied for a few years with the occasions that I used the practice. However, recently I felt that incorrect assumptions were being and had been made. When I pointed this out, it was, I believe, perceived as heralding a complaint which was not my intention and I was polite in all communication. The way that I was spoken to when I was feeling low was clumsy, rude and unprofessional. I am not someone who is always at the surgery. I am only there when I have a reason. I would recommend that unsubstantiated, judgemental comments and assumptions which could prejudice future consultations not be recorded and that if there are concerns that a patient is disgruntled or there are other concerns that this is tackled adult to adult in a professional manner with any observer openly in the same room not an adjacent one and that it is not conducted when the patient is temporarily feeling a bit low. I have change practice.
