I told the receptionist I thought I had a urine infection and would like to speak to a doctor on the phone. I was told there was a 3 week wait to speak to someone and was given no alternative. The infection spread and became more serious.
Suggested improvements
Don’t let receptionists make clinical decisions.
Don’t close phone lines for lunch every day.
Employ more people to answer phones.
Have some sort of online system set up.
