I rang the surgery on Wednesday to get a blood test result. There was no answer and I learnt that results were only given between a certain hour. To my astonishment Tracey Davey rang me back saying she had received a missed call from me. She was extremely helpful and looked up the results for me. I also asked her about another problem and she arranged for a Doctor to call me today for a consultation. I must say that my experience had been the best ever with the practice who I have been with for 4 years now. Please employ more people like Tracey, who made me feel comfortable and that I wasn’t being a problem. The Doctor who I spoke with this afternoon was also a delight and was patient and understanding. I worked for a group practice for 16 years and know how difficult things can be at times and this year must have been a nightmare. However pleasantry and helpfulness do not cost anything. I was seriously thinking of changing surgeries as my experience has been that a few of the receptionists seem to belittle patients the way they speak to them and some of the Doctors don’t seem interested. I would like my comments to be passed to the Practice Manager and Tracey be acknowledged in some way. PLEASE keep this kind of experience going. Susan Dowling
