I phone the surgery and ask the receptionsit to pre-book an appointment with any Doctor at any time. I repeatley get told that there is nothing to pre-book and to phone at 8am when all routine and pre-bookables are released. I have explained to the receptionsit everytime that I am at work at 8am-5pm. I am unable to make a phone call as I am answering them, and haven't got anyone that can phone for me. I had a day off sick and started phoning at 758am, I tried 44 times and finally got through to be told that all appointments had gone and there was no triage left. I am completely disgusted that I was offered nothing. Absoutely nothing!!! I did however see a Dr last week after being able to pre-book the appointment 2 weeks prior, now I need a follow up. I phoned today and again told I have to phone at 8am when the appointments are released! I am at work at 8am answering phones!!! I can NOT make phone calls. I need to have pre-bookables. I could suggest moving to another surgery but I am not going to. I want great care but I certainly am NOT getting it. This happens with my whole family. It is shocking! At least you are consistent when saying no!! Not something to be proud of.
