The Red Practice are very caring about their patients. I believe that continuity with the same doctor is very important. I have been attending the Red Practice for just over 13 years and have always been thoroughly satisfied with the excellent care I have received from Dr Hussain.
Since the appointment and repeat prescription system has gone online I have found no problem in getting an appointment and always use this system now.
I think we are very lucky to have such an excellent doctors' surgery and would recommend to others.
Arrived at health centre at 8.15. Reception opened at 8.30. I was given appointment to see Dr Sillick at 8.40 and after satisfactory consultation was out just after 9.00

Pleasant enough surgery if somewhat austere. Friendly staff and I would highly recommend Dr Sillick. I Have been attending this surgery for many years now and I always try to get an appointment with Dr Sillick as I'm a great believer in the benefit of consistent care by the same doctor. This can be difficult when needing an appointment at short notice. Getting an appointment at short notice is a trial in itself. Telephoning for an appointment is a lottery and should be updated to a queuing system to ensure fairness. It usually requires attending the surgery just prior to opening time in order to secure a same day appointment. Not always the best situation when unwell!
Well organised practice in a clean if slightly austere health centre. Very popular but able to make non-urgent appointment within three days. My appointment was for 0830h and I was with the doctor by 0835h at a fairly busy time.
Could improve the clarity of the PA system. sometimes hard to hear the doctor calling you to the consulting room.
Generally a good surgery. The doctors offer good consultations (especially impressed by Dr's Tilly and Sillick), but it can be hard to get an appointment with a doctor of your choice, as the surgery is always busy.
If the surgery had one more doctor (and, for those who are more comfortable with a doctor of the same gender for certain problems, I'd suggest: Male) then this would - in my opinion - be a perfect practice.
The phone system is the biggest issue at present, it's almost impossible to get through. Online bookings are, however, much easier than phone, and, if this service was expanded to include appointments for all the doctors each day, this would be a perfect way to get an appointment.
