This GP Practice provides open surgery on weekday mornings which means that it is possible to see a doctor without the need for a prebooked appointment. It is also possible to book appointments, either via the surgery or on-line, to see a particular doctor or arrange an appointment for a convenient time.
The surgery provides a pharmacy service.
The reception staff are all extremely helpful and considerate, as are the doctors and nurses.
Get more GP practices to implement the service model operated by this practice!

All staff at the surgery take their time to listen to you and help. The reception staff obviously get on very well with each other and it is lovely to hear, rather than the silence you can get at other places.
It feels very homely.
The doctors and nurse are very informative and understanding. I cannot recommend this practice enough - there should be more like it

All of the Staff on Reception have been very friendly and helpful over the 8 years that I have been visiting The Orchard.
It is only because of these smiling faces and convenience to myself that I continue to see a Doctor that does not answer my questions, and does not listen to what he is being told or asked. That maybe because he has his face buried in the PC screen most of the time.
I found the other Doctor abrupt and unhelpful during my only visit with her.
Great for the Retired or Unemployed.

Both positive and negative feedback are very valuable to the surgery. We are sorry if you feel that the GP has not answered your questions and that you feel that they have been abrupt and unhelpful. We have at least two female doctors who work at the practice, if you would like me to feed back personally to the GP involved please do not hesitate to contact me directly. I can assure our patients that the website is entirely anonymous for the use of patients and we have no way of indentifying patient information and nor would this ever affect patient care.
