I have found it very difficult to get a face to face appointment with the Dr of my choice. The problem seems to be that one cannot make an appointment more than two weeks ahead, and the appointments fill up very quickly.
I find the telephone conversations with the Dr very helpful and useful, but they're not always the appropriate way to communicate, and don't facilitate a clinical examination.
