I understand that the lovely GPs are allocated just 10 minutes per patient.
For someone undergoing investigations for possibly a new diagnosis, we run out of time to address the affect it has on me in a holistic way eg dealing with pain, mobility and trying desperately with keeping hold of my job.I think the GPs would get better job satsfaction if they were not so pushed for time. Probably due to people complaining about waiting times. I personally am prepared to wait for however long it takes so that GPs can spend the time with their patients.
Although i realise a longer appointment would would end up with fewer people being seen. However the practical things are being done to ensure investigations and follow ups are done for i am truly grateful and thank Gp Sue Edwards for her enormous contribution and effort. Thank you!
