Receptionist was contemptuous and totally dismissive of our queries (I was not alone!).

A smile perhaps a “good morning”, followed by “what can I do to help?”

If you want a appointment you always get told to ring up in the morning no matter what!!! The surgery has gone down hill. There is no care for patients its impossible to get seen.
Suggested improvements
Make it better to get appointment with out having to ring at 8am and not have to wait 4-7 week or longer to see a doctor. Doctors should listen to the patients needs and not shrug them off. Be able to book a doctors appointment from the app's

All good - apart from appointment wait which isn’t directly the surgery but the whole funding process.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
