I find it infuriating that the phone lines are shut at lunch time as I work, so to organise a routine appointment on a daily basis, I simply can't speak to anyone at the surgery. I wonder if this is really necessary?

The doctors and nurses in general are very good and I am aware of this limited budget. However, the receptionists aren't helpful anymore. Well, the new receptionists don't have the same "will" of doing (things that the previously getting) appointments and prescriptions for patients. As I used to be a dentist I do know that receptionist make you clinic good or they distracting it so the new ones are more likely to destroy it.
