The surgery is quite large so it's very easy to get a seat in the waiting rooms. Appointments often overrun as I have found that the doctors give their patients more than the ten minute time slot, however I feel that the appointment is less rushed and you are able to both talk to the doctor and listen to their advice. I have found it is best to stay with one particular doctor as they will be writing your patient notes, however it is much easier to get appointments if you state you do not mind which doctor you see. There is a very good system used in the reception which enables patients to sign themselves into the surgery, this keeps waiting time down at the reception desk which often gets busy despite there being two receptionists on duty at the same time. I have found it is difficult to get appointments within the week, however for regular visits I am often able to specify my appointment time if I book at least two weeks in advance.
