Reception staff are great but the impossibility of getting a routine face to face appointment is a total disgrace.

At a time when I can freely visit a large supermarket daily, visit a dentist, visit a barber, enter shops and restaurants, for GPs to still be hiding behind mandatory telephone consultations is an absolute scandal and how this can still be allowed to happen beggars belief. There have been many heroes and heroines of the coronavirus pandemic but I am very angry to have to say that the GP community have distinguished themselves by their absence. Step up to the plate.

20th July 2020 had tel appt with Dr Supple re symptoms of globus pharyngeus. Doctor dismissed as a common complaint that very rarely amounted to anything. Suggested it was probaby due to silent reflux and to take Gaviscon. If it didnt settle after week or two to call back. It didnt settle down but because the symptoms were so readily dismissed as insignificant by Dr Supple I was lulled into a false sense of security and thought better of ringing back and taking up GP time. Six months later In Jan 2021 a few days prior to a dental appt some swollen glands appeared in neck. I mentioned the throat symptoms and glands to dentist. On examination nothing obvious seen in the throat but a neck lump was found. Dentist arranged 2 week urgent ENT referral. In retrospect the care and treatment given by Dr Supple in my opinion was wholly inadequate and deeply troubling.

I appreciate that many people may complain of globus pharyngeus that cause no real problems. However perhaps this should be an area of more concern. The casual remedy of Gaviscon and see how it goes as the quick blanket answer is deeply concerning. On Feb17th I will undergo partial pharyngectomy and full neck dissection due to scc of tonsil. There is also uncertainty about extracapsular spread. If Dr Supple had investigated this in July 2020 the spread to lymph nodes would have been avoided + possible ECS. Hopefully Dr Supple will be less dismissive and become much more concerned with his patients symptoms.

Some of us cannot cope with music in the waiting room but because so many people are noise freaks our pain is ignored. There should be some clinics without noise for people who don't cope, especially those with auditory processing issues or autism. The noise issue is so bad that I haven't been able to get into the surgery and have had to ignore heart disease problems and cope without a doctor. My stress being in an environment forced to listen to horrible music is more painful than the fear of being unwell.

feedback relevant to reception staff and ease of appointment. Phoned today to get shingles vaccination for my husband and flu vaccinations for my son and myself. Receptionist extremely polite and very helpful. So glad that this is our health centre.

Think you are doing an amazing job. Not your issue....but changing pharmacy franchise would benefit everyone.
