There never seem to be any appointments available with actual doctors and the receptionist become quickly defensive if you question this. They then use accusations along the lines of ‘you are being aggressive or argumentative’ when you question them or further try to get help. It really isn’t a good experience. You worry every time you make a call to the surgery as you don’t know what response you’re likely to receive or what you’ll be accused of. You are dealing with people who are ill and anxious, receptionists need to have more empathy and make every attempt to problem solve.

Suggested improvements
Employ more Drs at the practice. I’ve been ill now for nearly 6 weeks. I’ve seen two nurses, a Doctor at the minor injuries in Bognor and now a paramedic about the same ear issue. I’ve had two types of antibiotics and now have further drops and sprays for the same ongoing issue. I have not seen one doctor at the surgery as there are no appointments and wonder how anyone ever gets to see an actual doctor?
