I have just tried to get an emergency appointment because I am Immune suppressed and been told I have to wait 4 hours to speak to someone, I am supposed to be monitored by my GP and hospital and have not seen a doctor there for nearly 3 years, Like many patients, I can never get past the receptionist to talk to a doctor. the receptionist are the most unprofessional people I have ever met, they are consistently rude and unhelpful, I have now decided enough is enough and have contacted Patient Claim line and have decided to change doctors, I will also be encouraging my friends, neighbours and students and their parents to change. perhaps if enough people complain and leave then the Health care trust will do something about them.
