You can not get an afternoon appointment unless you call back at 2pm and when you get through you are met with unhelpful staff who ask if it's a medical emergency..... surely if it was then I would be at the hospital not calling my DRs, if you're unsure they will not give an appointment. You get 10minutes if you're lucky and if you mention more than one symptom you're told to book a second appointment that you can never get. I was laughed at when asked to be referred for tests and called a liar by a locum DR The receptionist staff sat on this referral from November until Feb before actually doing anything with it !!
