The service is very poor! Every time I have to book an appointment for myself or for my son, I always have to wait between 30 mins to 1 hour just to be seen by somebody. My son needed his immunisations and you struggle to get an appointment. so as a result he is always late for his immunisations (even with ringing up in advance to try and book in advance)

Having booked 12 week injections for baby, I get a phone call 10 minutes before my appointment to say that the nurse hadn't turned up. These things happen so that's fine. Told I couldn't get another appointment for over 2 weeks as only one nurse does the injections. Again, that's understandable. Go for the appointment to find another nurse is doing them, not the one I had 6 weeks previous & also the didn't have one of the vaccines my baby needed so have to go back again for another appointment. But wasn't told this until I had arrived & was actually in with the nurse. Normally this practise is brilliant, but this is for my baby's health & found them to be unorganised. Also after asking receptionist if having the vaccines 2 weeks kate would cause any issues got told 3 separate times that they were unsure & I was just to ask the nurse - who I wasn't seeing in time for the answer. Not really good enough

Dr listened to my dialogue, whilst inspecting swollen limb and then asked relevant
questions before coming to a diagnosis and cause of the problem.
Appropriate treatment was then recommended, which concurred with my own appraisal before the surgery visit. I have great faith in my Dr and feel comfortable with
his good bedside manner. Many thanks.

It was reasonably easy to get an appointment at my surgery however there was still a substantial wait on the day. For routine matters, I would rather be offered an appointment at a later date that I knew would be on time than an appointment earlier that I have to sit and wait 45 minutes in the waiting room for. Of course, if I required an urgent appointment, a wait would be understandable.
The staff at Stretton Medical Centre are all helpful and I trust the medical practitioners. I can not fault the medical care I have received.
